Both front pockets have zippers to make sure nothing falls out of the mesh pockets. The back pocket has a zipper pocket. Front zipper fly with a button attached with sturdy nylon...you won't bust buttons off like the ones attached with thread. Internal drawstring to adjust fit without a belt. Front left leg has Chevron logo print and back pocket has an embroidered M/M 99 emblem. 22" outseam so they are a little longer than you find from most surf brands.
